if it weren’t for You the demons of depression, suicidal thoughts and temptation would’ve made a family home along with her soul in her grave . if it weren’t for You who saved her from herself the tale wouldn’t be hers to tell if it weren’t for You her parents would’ve organized the burial of their offspring (a week before the announcement of her title) who would’ve sprung into the black hole along with the rest of the dark world it’s the only “what if” she’s proud to talk of because what if You didn’t stop the pills from working ? surely, this year alone , ten containers of painkillers would’ve killed her if it weren’t for You ., if it weren’t for You , her brother would’ve given up hope probably ended his journey the same way because what he knew about life and God is what she’s taught him when their parents were grinding and if she ended all he knew he’d assume that’s it’s nothing new . if it weren’t for You , these scars would be deeper and darker and more profound if it weren’t for You , joy wouldn’t have been found . and when her best friend passed on you kneeled beside her shattered heart and shivering body overwhelmed by pain and comforted her .. purposely so she felt your hand upon her back for the first time , she felt real love . and when she turned her back on You, changed her name to Disbelief , a month later you sent her someone to whisper Your love ..and a month later , insured her baptism and return home . if it weren’t for You , i wouldn’t be here to tell the tale of Your love . if it weren’t for You .
